UMUHUZA has joined the international community in observing the 16 Days Of Activism 2024,a global campaign dedicated to raising awareness and urging action to end all forms of gender-based violence. The drive, which runs from November 25 to December 10, is held under the theme ,’ All for GBV-Free Families."
In fact, Gender-Based Violence, as a violation of human rights, abstructs the promotion of peace within our communities. Let us work together to strengthen prevention and response strategies and jointly combat all forms of GBV to build a safer society for all.
Our commitment
In our commitment to ending Gender-Based Violence, Umuhuza remains steadfast in breaking the culture of silence surrounding this issue and promoting a culture of speaking out across Rwanda. We are strengthening positive parenting as a key strategy for raising awareness and preventing GBV.
