Mathilde Kayitesi, Umuhuza Executive Director, joined more than 100 participants from various government institutions, development partners, teachers, students and the private sector at the 5th National Workshop on FoundationalLearning, held in Kigali on March 25-26, 2024.
Participants engaged in interactive sessions to share experiences and discuss progress in strengthening basic learning in Rwanda. Umuhuza’s participation in the workshop was an opportunity to share with other participants the organization, its years of experience and lessons learned in engaging parents and communities in foundational learning. The symposium was organized in collaboration of the Ministry of Education and the World Bank.
