Umuhuza in Rwanda’s native language means “a link through mediation”. Since 2005, Umuhuza has invested more efforts in focusing their work on a culture of peace with a vision to build a peaceful society in which communities live in harmony, mutual respect and dignity as a response to the consequences of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
