August 8 Umuhuza Organisation began a four-day training for 20 community literacy champions from five districts: Burera, Ruhango, Kirehe, Gasabo and Ngororero.

The training was held under the project “Access to Digital and Inclusive community Literacy Environment,” funded by Rwanda National Commission for UNESCO, which is being implemented in Rutunga sector to increase community libraries with inclusive and digital literacy resources.

During the training, participants will acquire knowledge on the use technology in library management and on assisting people with disability to access literacy materials.
